Baked Pears with Granola and Cinnamon Honey

Ingredients

  • 3 - 5 fresh pears
  • 1 package Quaker® Simply Granola Oats Apples, Cranberries & Almonds
  • 1 jar 12 ounces of honey
  • 6 - 8 cinnamon sticks

Instructions

  1. Cinnamon Honey
  2. Place about 6 - 8 cinnamon sticks in a double-boiler.
  3. Pour 12 ounces honey over the sticks.
  4. Cover the pot and bring the water to a gentle simmer.
  5. Steep the cinnamon and honey for about 2 hours.
  6. Remove the honey from the heat and pour it through a small strainer into a glass jar.
  7. Use as desired.
  8. Baked Pears with Quaker® Simply Granola Oats, Apples, Cranberries & Almonds
  9. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  10. Halve and pit the pears.
  11. Fill the holes with Quaker® Simply Granola Oats, Apples, Cranberries & Almonds.
  12. Drizzle with cinnamon honey.
  13. Bake for 25 - 40 minutes (or until the skins begin to curl).
  14. Serve and enjoy!
